Helping You Heal & Reconnect
With What Matters
Who I see:
I offer individual therapy to support adults and teens who are:
-
Navigating grief and loss in its many forms- including the death of a loved one, disenfranchised grief, chronic illness, estrangement, identity loss, pet loss, or the grief that comes from life not unfolding the way you imagined
-
Moving through major life transitions or changes- whether they are expected or unexpected
-
Questioning their relationships, identity, or career path
-
Wrestling with anxiety, burnout, or emotional overwhelm
-
Struggling with depression, feeling numb, hopeless, apathetic, or weighed down
-
Feeling stuck or disconnected within their life, unsure of what comes next

My practice is:
-
Inclusive across generations- Supportive to Gen Alpha, Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and beyond
-
Welcoming to first-time therapy clients or those returning to therapy with new goals
-
Affirming of living outside societal norms– Including those who move through the world in ways that challenge traditional societal roles or expectations
-
Neurodiversity-affirming- You don’t have to mask or explain here
-
Culturally-responsive- Race, culture, power, privilege, and systems of oppression are acknowledged and explored with care
-
Affirming of LGBTQIA+ identities- Gender and sexuality are not pathologized and are honored as dynamic and valid

While acknowledging that therapy may not feel fully safe, I’m committed to continuous on-going personal and professional work required to advocate for my clients, and show up in a way that identifies and lowers existing power dynamics, centers your voice and choice, and welcomes all parts of you.

We might work well together if:
You’re looking for someone who offers genuine support and feels like a real person in the room.
-
Someone who’s grounded, curious, and able to sit with the hard stuff without making it feel heavier.
-
An environment that offers reflection, warmth, and humor when it fits.
-
You want a space where you don’t have to filter yourself, and where your pace, intuition, and insight are respected. and where you can learn strategies that actually help.
If these sound like what you’ve been looking for, we might work well together.

Meet Kulfi: Therapy dog in training. Once she’s certified (tbd), clients will have the option to include her in sessions for extra comfort and support.

One of the offices you will find me in; I provide virtual therapy, but tend to do most of my work in person. My offices are located in Corte Madera and San Francisco (Lower Pac Heights & Downtown SF)
Office Vibes:
My office is relaxed and welcoming. You're invited to show up in whatever way feels most supportive to you. If you want to sit on the floor, that is totally fine! If it feels better to stand, move, or fidget while we talk, we can do that! If making art, holding a warm cup of tea, or curling up under a blanket helps you settle in, we will make space for it. This is your time.

Therapeutic Approaches Explained:
I use a personalized mix of tools and techniques that are grounded in person-centered and evidence-based practices to support emotional understanding, resilience, and meaningful change. My work is primarily rooted in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, and I also draw from other modalities when they feel helpful.
-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – helps you make space and better understand your difficult thoughts and emotions, reframe your values, and take steps to align your behaviors with your values
-
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) – offers tools to build emotional regulation, increase distress tolerance, and improve how you relate to yourself and others
-
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – focuses on how your thoughts influence your feelings and behaviors and helps you identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns
My approach is also informed by interpersonal, feedback-informed, and systems theories. I’m a lifelong learner and continually looking to expand my understanding of what supports meaningful, lasting change.

On a personal note:
I believe in the power of community, shared laughter, and that healing happens best when we don’t have to do it alone. I value the interplay of curiosity, humor, and emotional depth as essential elements of both life and therapy. Being a therapist is something I hold as both an honor and a privilege.

Illuminate the dark spaces for those who will walk this path.
Learn how to survive, and in the process, how to live."
